Just to ask the question under the given circumstances is ridiculous.

I say, sure. Wear your gloves. And no I'm not trying to be flippant. God's people perish for lack of knowledge. Don't stop being intelligent to be spiritual. The Holy Spirit
blesses both.

If you do pray for someone in this situation, I think it would be fine (and smart) to wear a pair of latex gloves. And then after the prayer, just dispose of them properly. You're unlikely to get the virus. In fact, even without the gloves, as long as you wash your hands well afterward, you're still unlikely to get the virus. According to a doctor at Johns Hopkins Medical School, your chances of getting the virus from an infected member of your household are only about 10%. And if you casually encounter the virus on your job (i.e., you don't actually touch the person who has it), your chances are only about 0.5%. So, as long as you play it smart, you don't necessarily need to quarantine yourself.

As Christians, we can pray for the healing of anyone who desires it. Of course, this activity is best approached by more mature believers. And whenever we pray for someone, it should always be with gentleness and sensitivity.
