Here are my two cents. As a non-binary (meaning I don't identify as male or female) I don't want people to be jailed because they did something wrong. Instead, I think they should be educated as to why what they did can be hurtful. I believe that transgender people do deserve human rights and should be allowed and that no one should be allowed to discriminate against them for who they are. At the end of the day, they are human. We are essentially saying that because they do not identify with their assigned gender that they are invalid and there is NO excuse for us to hate another human. ESPECIALLY as Christians.

If the misnamed "Equality Act " ever becomes law, this is what we can expect.

In Australia, a man who went through the whole surgery/sex change/hormones procedure said he regretted it, and decided to go back to his original birth sex. He began a support group for those who felt as he did, and he got hundreds of responses. What most of them say if they are honest with themselves is this: "I had severe emotional problems, and thought that the "gender change" would help. But after the initial novelty wears off, I found it did nothing to solve my problems. I would have been better off just staying with my original sex."

“Therefore, since we have this ministry because we were shown mercy, we do not give up. Instead, we have renounced shameful secret things, not walking in deceit or distorting God’s message, but commending ourselves to every person’s conscience in God’s sight by an open display of the truth. But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we are not proclaiming ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves because of Jesus. For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.”

For the last 30 years, I have been grieved not only by the growth of the LBGTQ movement, but by the absolute silence of Christian leaders (other than Dr. Dobson) in the face of it. If the megachurch millionaires with all their power and money refuse to address this, how can you expect or exhort individual Christians to face this flood of perversion alone and stand up to it? Clearly you do not live in the "real world" as an employee or business owner. The leftists use a scorched earth approach, destroying lives and livelihoods, and have since the 1980s when Anita Bryant was destroyed by them when she bravely spoke out. Preachers backed away from her as soon as the attacks started. Preach your message in this article to the cowardly preachers, Dr. Brown, who have nothing to lose but who still stand silent. Soon they won't be able to hide behind their pulpits or the First Amendment when laws are changed and evil truly rules. Remember Charles Finney's words in "The Pulpit is Responsible." https://preachersinstitute.com/2012/09/18/the-pulpit-is-responsible/
