I think we women have a responsibility for dressing modestly and for not putting temptation out their for men. I see this on Bill O'Riley's program, where many female guests are displaying a lot of cleavage. Is this really necessary? To me it doesn't look professional. Some men have a hard time training their eyes, so why would you want to add to the problem?

I am a single man on several Christian dating sites and I am constantly amazed at the self-professing Christian women with numerous Selfies posted that more than just accentuate one part of their anatomy. I don't think I have to elaborate and I'd bet the farm most can guess what I'm referring to. I think Voddie Baucham in his video "Biblical Womanhood" said it best. I don't remember exactly how he put it but basically he told women not to be shocked and surprised when they advertise and then get what they ask for. Like Dr. Brown, I'm not condoning bad behavior from men. I'm just saying if you advertise for a man walking in the Flesh, you're probably gonna get it. I've not seen anything else like that video and Voddie is spot on. I highly recommend it for men and women.

I am a woman of mature years and I was brought up to dress with respect for my own body and respect for those around me. I have never felt it right for women to show their cleavage. Many years ago I did wear mini skirts because they were the fashion, but they were never so short as to show more than two to four inches above the knee. It was difficult to buy clothing that was longer during the fashion years. But I never really felt comfortable in those skirts. I was relieved when the maxi skirt returned, and I have never worn anything shorter since those days. I believe that if women want to be treated respectfully by men, and by other women, we do well to dress in looser clothing and longer skirts. I fear that many women wear revealing clothing because they want to be noticed and actually want to entice men to lust after them.
