Sometimes I think Brown tries a little too hard to be "compassionate" and "open-minded." However, often the most loving thing to do is just to call a spade a spade. Ginsburg had a long history of participating in very wicked court decisions, and I'm thankful that she can no longer continue her evil. However, I do pray that God will comfort her loves ones and give them some peace.

What I find as interesting is that Ruth Ginsberg’s first big court case was about women’s rights where Reed vs Reed. The case happened in 1971 which was a Sh’mittah year or year of release. Over the years this led to abortion in close to 60% of the world countries which today gives us the murder of millions of unborn children. Countries in Europe like East and West Germany. France, etc. passed abortion laws in the mid 70’s in Some countries like Belgium passed abortion laws in the 90’s.. Poland tried to stop abortion few years ago. Know that this year is a Sh’mittah year.
In the Gospel John we are told by the Messiah that He is leaving and ruler who has no power over Him will be ruler of the world. Approximately fifty years afters the resurrection of the Messiah, John writes to us in I John 5:19 telling us that we are from God and the ruler of this world is the Evil One. We need to ask where are those who believe in our Creator?
If you do not know what a Sh’mittah year is read Deuteronomy 15.

I must take issue with some of Dr. Brown's comments here. Calling Ginsburg a "cultural icon" and"larger than life" is over the top. I realize that the time of a person's passing should be treated with respect, as all people are image bearers of God. But, Ginsburg's judicial record in no manner warrants laudatory comments. She may be revered by the left, but she is so revered for all of the wrong reasons. She consistently voted to uphold the "right" to exterminate unborn children, and her positivist judicial philosophy was and is extremely disruptive to our Constitution and to the rule of law. One of the reasons that we have a written Constitution was to obviate any notion that law is simply whatever those in power say it is. In adopting such an approach, Ginsburg violated her oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, and undermined the enduring principles of American liberty embodied in that document. She should in no manner be lionized by anyone--to be charitable at her passing would be to say nothing about her personally, but to in any manner suggest that she is an icon (other than to one godless segment of America) is not appropriate. Still a strong supporter of the ministry, but I believe Dr. Brown's words in this instance are ill-chosen.

Nonsense. Dr. B and the other evangelicals are deliriously happy. This is the moment they have been waiting for since 1973.
