As we come to the end of 2013, I wanted to post this personal note of thanks to all of you who shared together with our ministry work this past year.

THANK YOU for your notes of encouragement and appreciation. In all my years of ministry, I have never received so many kind, gracious, uplifting, and meaningful comments and notes and emails. This is truly humbling and makes me want to serve the Lord and each of you all the more effectively.

THANK YOU for your prayer support. Only God knows the difference you have made by praying for me — and for Nancy and our family and our ministry team and those we minister to. In the midst of intense pressure and a heavy schedule, I can genuinely say that His yoke is easy and His burden light.

THANK YOU for helping to getting the message out. Within minutes of posting a link on Facebook or Twitter, you have helped spread the word to others, and if the article (or video or audio file) was deserving of more attention, it has gone viral from there. You played a crucial role in helping to spark the fire and get the word about new books and messages and writings. What a great ministry team you have been!

THANK YOU for your solidarity and input. You have added great comments, made excellent points, confronted error, and exposed falsehood. My own heart has often been stirred by your contributions.

THANK YOU for your honesty. It means so much to me that you’re free to share your differences and concerns and are not just a bunch of “yes men.” I appreciate your integrity and willingness to speak the truth in love.

THANK YOU for your financial support. This has been the most fruitful year of ministry in our history, with continued expansion on every front, but it has stretched us to the limit and beyond, and without your financial support — both regular and periodic — we could not have accomplished a fraction of this.

THANK YOU for making this all about Jesus. He is the one who unites our hearts together, He is the one worth living for and dying for, and ultimately, being like Him and making Him known is our mission and purpose and goal. In so many ways, you have helped us keep our focus exactly where it belongs.

So, on my behalf of Nancy, our family, and our entire ministry team, as we come to the end of 2013, blessed and excited and full of vision, super-charged about the prospects of glorifying God and touching the world in 2014, I say to all of you THANK YOU!
