I have another take about Matthew 2:15 that I believe the Spirit showed me that I would like to pass on. Rather than the prophecy being about the Egypt connection mentioned in both Matthew and Hosea, I believe it refers to Yeshua being able to fulfill the prophecy of giving a way for Israel to come out of "spiritual Egypt" with idol worship, etc. after leaving physical Egypt, according to Hosea. This came about since Joseph took Yeshua out of Israel temporarily and Herod was unable to kill him. That also is part of the one long sentence of Matthew 15.
