What lends credence to the Historic premillennialism position is that it was held by a large majority of Christians during the first three centuries of the Christian era. Many of the church fathers such as Ireneaus, Papias, Justin Martyr, Tertullian, Hippolytus, and others taught that there would be a visible kingdom of God upon the earth after the return of Christ. Historic premillennialism taught that the Antichrist would appear on earth and the seven-year tribulation would begin. Next would be the rapture, and then Jesus and His church would return to earth to rule for a thousand years. The faithful spend eternity in the New Jerusalem. I hold to the dispensationalist premillennialist view based on a literal method of biblical interpretation but i too will not divide with my fellow brothers and sisters in the Kingdom over doctrines that are not of Primary importance.

Unsurprisingly, Dr. Brown makes up his own version of what he wants to pretend his god said. This is just like every other Christian and unsurprisingly, Chrsitians contradict each other with their baseless claims of "truth". I do love the nonsense of the "end times" in the bible. it shows that the bible is the product of ignorant humans who thought that stars were little lights on a solid dome that could fall on the earth. Alas, stars are quite a bit bigger than the earth and the sky isn't solid. We also have that these ignorant humans have this god making humans work with its supposed archenemy so its plans will come true (Revelation 18), and then, this god kills every non-christian and then intentionally releases Satan to corrupt the Christians that are left. It must really suck when your god throws you under the bus just to get one more bloody battle. It's even funnier that vanishingly few of these Christians go to heaven, but get stuck with the tacky "city of heaven on earth" where this god shows it is as greedy for gold, jewels, etc as any human.
