Thank you, Dr. Brown for writing this post. I was a reluctant Trump voter (because of his brash personality), but I knew I didn't want the Clintons back in the White House. I was adamant about that(!)....so I'm glad I voted (*first- time voter), and very glad Trump won.
I have generally agreed with Trump's policies, plans, and vision for our country.... But each time he'd verbalize or tweet some impulsive, brash comment, I'd cringe, cringe, cring.... It really bothered me.....in a way I couldn't seem to overcome (partly because: Just when I'd "settled down" from one of his previous brouhahas.. ....all of a sudden, there'd be a NEW knockout punch, following on the heels of the last one! LOL :)
But seriously, I loved his policies, but was continuously disturbed by his behavior.
Your article helped me understand the dichotomy of this man. I realize one of your commentors basically said to "Get over it".... But for some of us, the unpredictability of Trump's behavior has been truly unsettling (especially with each new "surprise").
Thank you again for clarifying the issue for some of us, and providing a way to "see the big picture", so we can move forward with this President, and fully support his work.
Initially, I hoped for another Reagan in the White House .....but even though Reagan and Trump appear to be opposites, PERSONALLY...they seem very, very similar, on POLICY. THAT is something to be thankful for, because those policies WORK.

Your article, Dr. Brown, made me laugh a few times. I wondered if Scaramucci has any Sicilian blood? In any case, I agree that one shouldn't make Donald Trump into something he isn't or isn't yet and let God work on him further. For whatever reason, he does seem to be looking in the right direction generally and he has a huge job on his hands that most of us probably do not appreciate fully. I pray that PM Trudeau would be more like Trump and less like Obama but Obama seems to be his role model. Now I will return to finishing "Hypergrace" which I'm reading for a second time. It is interesting how Christian leaders are lining up in this area more or less and there goes the flock. I watch and observe.

What to make of Donald Trump?
He is a work in progress. Certainly no messiah. Possible a phenotype of Cyrus.
And /or Don Corleone.

Why do you struggle so mightily to accept President Trump just might not be the Satanic, demonic force you thought? Every week another article NOT about what Trump is doing, but about who he is and what his actions mean ABOUT HIM.
He won. Give it up. Time now to lend a hand guiding him, not continuing to psychoanalyze him. You were right. You were wrong. It doesn't matter. Take a Valium. Move on. #obsessed.
